The Law amends the Economic Code of Ukraine, the Law "On the Lease of Public and Municipal Property" and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the List of Property Complexes of State-Owned Enterprises, Organizations and their Structural Units, Privatization or Lease of which is prohibited." The amendments harmonize these legislative acts and enhance legal regulation of lease relations; introduce competitive principles of lease of public and municipal property, and specify the procedure of property assessment.
